A friend told me this when I was considering adult education - All my life, growing up, my dad couldn't afford to give us the right kind of education, but he got us as far as 100-hour a week job could. Some job descriptions are mean and straight. They make it quite clear that you are not going to be getting them if you are not qualified on paper. People like to take the trouble to go studying for the better credits. You could too, age notwithstanding.

Adult education is any kind of learning program that allows adults to realize their dreams. You have dreams too, as do many others, but not everybody has the guts to go for some more education after they have ‘seen it all.' Those who do are the ones you often see at the top.
